Buddha's seven modes of discourse: [lang id =1028]因語 from　present cause to future effect; [lang id =1028]果語 from present　effect to past cause; [lang id =1028]因果語 inherent cause and　effect; [lang id =1028]喻語 illustrative or figurative; [lang id =1028]不應説語　 spontaneous or parabolic; [lang id =1028]世界流語 ordinary or　popular; [lang id =1028]如意語 unreserved, or as he really　thought, e.g. as when he said that all things have the Buddha-nature.

佛所說的七種語， 即一、 因語， 於現在因中說未來之果； 二、 果語， 於現在果中說過去之因； 三、 因果語， 對著一件事既說因又說果； 四、 喻語， 即作種種的譬喻； 五、 不應說語； 六、 世流布語； 七、 如意語。
